$2M, 1,750-hp Laraki Epitome is a Limited Edition Beast

All carbon-fiber body married to a twin-turbo Chevy V8 is a match made in Morocco.
Virtually unheard of prior to last weekend’s Pebble Beach event, the Laraki Motors Epitome Concept is causing quite the stir across the automotive reporting airwaves even though information about the car is scarce and dubious at best. According to various sources, the carmaker, founded in Morocco but now residing in California, is planning a nine-unit limited production run of its supercar. Built on the chassis of a C6-gen Corvette, the Epitome Concept weighs just 2,800 pounds thanks to body panels made entirely of carbon fiber.

$2M, 1,750-hp Laraki Epitome is a Limited Edition BeastPower comes from a 7.0-liter Chevy V8 twin-turbocharged to create 1,200 horsepower on regular gas. There’s an additional gas tank for 110 octane and with a touch of a button, gas can be burned from both for an output of 1,750 hp. That figure is almost as unbelievable as the $2 million price tag. We’ll wait for the carmaker’s website to be completed before we pass judgment on the veracity of this particular vehicle.
