The hybrid supercar is currently at Monterey’s motor week in production guise.
With a nonchalant tweet, Porsche has unveiled the fully-fledged road-going Porsche 918 Spyder. “The latest production version of the Porsche 918 Spyder at Monterey Motor Week” is the tweet that accompanies this solitary image of the supercar only a very lucky few will ever have the privilege of owning. Unsurprisingly, it doesn’t look overly different from the numerous prototypes and concepts we’ve seen over the past few months.
But that’s a good thing as it’s a breathtakingly good looking car with the performance to match. A 4.6-liter V8 paired with two electric motors combines to generate 887 horsepower. It will hit 0-62 mph in under three seconds and a top speed of 202 mph. For a price of $845,000 it can be all yours.
