Do not question the oracle of Consumer Reports.
For some, the word of Consumer Reports is like gospel. There is good reason for this too, the magazine is run without advertising or loaners or any of the perks often thrown at journalists, and this is done to prevent any bias on the part of reviewers. It is at times rather dry, but it is an objective opinion. So when they tell you that the newly redesigned 2014Cadillac CTS is absolutely brilliant, you should listen. And they do seriously love the car.
As you’ll see in the video, the reviewer even goes so far as to say that the car is superior to the German competition. High praise indeed.
