For a famous Hollywood car that can't even be driven, someone was still willing to spend big to have it.
Last June it was announced the iconic James Bond Lotus Esprit that turned into a submarinewas heading to auction. The Series I Esprit was driven by Roger Moore in the Bond flick "The Spy Who Loved Me," a venue that further helped to increase the then new sports car’s popularity. And now it has just sold at auction for the princely sum of $968,000. But here’s the thing: this Esprit doesn’t even have wheels. In fact, it’s not even a real car. A real Esprit was used for the road shots.
