Mercedes Prices G63 AMG 6x6 at 451,010 Euros

That’s a whole chunk of change for a car that barely fits on the road.
It began as a special creation for the Austrian military, but after demand from specific clientele, Mercedes decided to build a civilian model of the six-wheeled G-Class unveiled back in March. Recenty, the carmaker has announced the 19-foot long, four-ton behemoth will cost those interested parties an equally monstrous 451,010 Euros in Germany – that’s 379,000 Euros plus 19 percent VAT, making it the second most expensive Merc on the market after the $450,000 SLS Electric Drive.

Power comes from the same 5.5-liter twin-turbo V8 in the G63 AMG. That’s 544 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque sent to all six wheels via a seven speed auto and five locking diffs. With 18 inches of ground clearance and 37-inch tires, there’s virtually no terrain on earth the 6x6 can’t tackle. Deliveries of the G63 AMG 6x6 will start next month and Mercedes expects to shift around 20-30 of these each year. We can’t wait to see one on the streets or on Mars.
