Cadillac Unveils All-New 2015 Escalade

And it looks nearly the same as the previous Escalade.
The first thing you need to know about the all-new 2015 Cadillac Escalade is that GM wanted it to be as unique as possible when compared to its Chevy Tahoe and GMC Yukon cousins. Aside from the overall exterior dimensions, a shared engine, and several other components, the Escalade was designed to be a far more luxurious SUV, especially with its interior. The new exterior design can’t be mistaken for anything other than a Caddy. Featuring all of the familiar styling trademarks a la the ATS and CTS, there are full LED headlamps and running lamps.
20-inch wheels come standard as does plenty of extra body work to help further differentiate it from GM’s other full-size SUVs. But perhaps the Escalade’s greatest draw is its interior, which is a dramatic improvement over its predecessor’s.

More time and attention was put into it over what you’ll find in the Tahoe/Yukon. GM calls the interior’s craftsmanship "one of the industry’s most authentic and luxurious cabins."Cadillac’s CUE touchscreen system with voice recognition comes standard as do heated and cooled front and second-row bucket seats. Six- and seven-passenger seating configurations are offered, and the rear seats fold completely flat. The sole engine is a 6.2-liter V8 that’s good for 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque that’s paired to a six-speed automatic. Official pricing and fuel economy numbers aren’t available just yet, but there will surely be plenty of people ready to buy one.
